Last Saturday at the Mediterranean Golf, the 32nd BP Oil Golf Trophy was held, one of the longest-running tournament in the history of the Borriolense golf club. In this thirty-second edition, the more than 60 participants were divided into three categories, first, second and junior.
The first category was little disputed and Alberto Benages was imposed with a total of 45 points seven more than his pursuer and second placed Roman Redondo that ended with a card of 38 points. In third place, and at just one point, Fernando Velo would finish the 18 holes with 37 points on his card.
In second category, the thing was more even, but Ángela Roig with 43 points climbed to the top of the podium after a great run by Francesc Artola with 42 points that was the surprise of the tournament at the start of the race with a high handicap compared to his opponents In third place and with 6 points of difference would be Eduardo Rodriguez who completed the round with 38 points on his card.
Also a junior category was disputed that would adjudge Alfonso Falomir with a total of 41 points.
After the championship the head of external relations of BP, Juan Carlos Navarro made the relevant delivery of trophies with which the trophy sponsored by BP Oil was closed for the thirty-second consecutive year.
