The UJI, the Sergio García Foundation and the El Cau School-Association join forces to develop a non-invasive cranial protector for people with disabilities
The Universitat Jaume I, through José Vicente García, a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Construction; Sergio García, as president of the foundation that bears his name; and the president of the El Cau School-Association, Juan Rodríguez, have publicly presented a collaboration agreement signed by this three entities to develop this research project.
CAUPROTECT aims to dignify and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities through the conception, development and design of a non-invasive and reusable cranial protector to protect them against falls caused by their instability or epileptic seizures before the risk of suffering a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
