Sergio Garcia completed a good fourth course that took him to fourth place in the Wells Fargo Championship, PGA Tour tournament played in Charlotte (North Carolina), with a total of 275 strokes. Sergio ended with three impacts below the pair to add an eagle (hole 7 -par 5-) and five birdies for four bogeys.
The great protagonist of the tournament was the American Max Homa, ranked 417th in the world, who achieved his first PGA Tour title at the conclusion of the final round of the tournament with 269 strokes, three less than the second classified, his compatriot Joel Dahmen.
The 29-year-old Californian, who qualified in 2018 to compete in tournaments on the American circuit through the Web.com Tour, in which he holds two titles – the 2014 BMW Charity Pro-Am and the 2016 Rust-Oleum Championship – , remained calm and concentrated during this last haul on the course of Charlotte’s Quail Hollow Club, and scored five birdies for a bogey on his card, which led him to victory.
