On Saturday, the fifth edition of the Soriano Construcciones tournament was held at the Mediterráneo Golf, which, after five years, has already begun to be one of the classic tournaments on the calendar of the sensational Borriolense golf course. It was a great day for the practice of golf and the more than sixty participants took the field at 9:00, with the shot and three categories in play. Handicaps of less than 15.4 would struggle for the first category classification and the highest handicaps of 15.5 for the second category classification. Those under 18 would also have their opportunity with a special category for them. The championship had all the attractions for an interesting and exciting journey. And did not disappoint, in the first category Antonio Viedma took the win while Julio Ruiz took the runner-up and Inmaculada García the third position of the podium.
In second category the cajón was occupied by Roberto López as champion while the second place was shared by Pablo Rozas and Francisco Ruiz. As for the minors, the females dominated, with champion Rocío Ferrando, runner-up Enrique Boldó and third-ranked María Martínez.
At the end of the tournament both representatives from Soriano Construcciones and from Mediterráneo Golf handed out the trophies to the first three classified in each of the categories.
